Guess What?!

Hola People!

Well.. IM HOME!!!! & I could not be more thrilled, we are home & haven't had our sweet girl yet, but as long as she is still baking in the oven-- that is good news for this momma! I was discharged from the hospital last night, which sounds CRAZY! But I would just say everything my body has done in the last 8.5 months has been crazy, right?! Yes.

So anyway.. I was discharged because basically, I had been in the hospital for 9 days because my water had broken, the first 4 days I was on IV & antibiotic to prevent infection, they also gave me steroids to boost Elli's lung development because they really expected my body to go into labor, like 9 days ago! HA! But basically, as of yesterday, the hospital was not giving me any extra care there that I am unable to give myself at home (taking temp every 4 hrs, blood pressure, etc.) I had been 9 days & my body hadn't shown any obvious signs of labor even though my water had broken so they sent me home & told me to let nature take its course until I go into labor on my own, which my dr said will most likely be in the next week or so. :)

I must say I am so thankful for the nurses & doctors who had taken care of me the last week & a half, I was truly blessed. Our God is really so good, he has protected my body & my baby from infection, from pre-term labor. When I thought our world was crashing & we would be NICU parents for weeks, our mighty God stepped in & saved us. He even threw in a little surprise & let me come home to spend the holiday & my birthday with my family, at home. SO THANKFUL! Which is perfect, it's the week of Thanksgiving. God always carries us through & I am so glad Zach & I have put Him first in our marriage, in our parenting, & in our everyday lives.   He truly creates miracles & just keeps surprising us. Looove.

Also.. TOMORROW IS THANKSGIVING! It makes me so stinkin happy I will get to spend time with my family on such a great holiday-- food, food, food! :) :) :) Sounds right up this prego momma's alley, doesn't it? Yes, of course it does.

Okay, I have a few things to do around this house, I'm gonna post a few pics this afternoon of our sweet boy & the continued progress on our little Ellis' nursery.

Have a Happy Wednesday, yall!
