Ellis' First Easter Pictures

Zach's Aunt Rhonda took these, I am so in love with all of them!

LP's First Tee-Ball Practice

Legend had his first tee-ball practice on Thursday, he really did do a great job, before getting tired & hungry before the practice was even over- leave it to my child to want to hang out at the concession stand! haha. The little team is three & four year olds, they are all so cute & I am so excited for the season to start, first game is on Saturday, yippee! He looked so stinking cute in his little practice gear! He loves sports, I am so happy about that! Cannot wait to be a sports momma!

Easter 2013

Easter this year was just absolutely WONDERFUL. We spent countless hours with our family, on both sides. Saturday was the Annual Hanna/Byford Easter Celebration, which is my dad's side of the family. Honestly, there are SO many people there, I don't really think we are truly related to all of them! But, this year, my dad did win the award for most grandchildren I think! haha He welcomed three baby girls in a matter of two months, crazy huh? My dad & step-mom now have eight grandchildren, I am so thankful that my dad is still young & in such great health, Legend just has so much fun spending time with him & Ellis has already stolen his heart. Speaking of grandparents, looking at this Easter, it brings tears to my eyes thinking that my babies have close, loving relationships with their GREAT-GRANDPARENTS, what an honor is that?! Not many people are able to say that & I am so glad my babies will be able to, brings a smile in my heart. :) love love love!

On Sunday, first thing we headed to church & instead of a regular service this year, there was a play. It was so special, so sweet & really spoke to my heart. Everyone in the cast did such a great job & it was so good. I think it really could speak to anyone, it didn't just relate to certain people which is really important. After church, we headed to Zach's grandparents in Alma. We scarfed up some yummy ham, mashed potatoes, veggies, & Aunt Rhonda made this WONDERFUL inside out lemon cake-- it was to die for! In the evening, we went to my dad & step-moms house for another yummy dinner.. holidays are my favorite :) food food food!! hehe
Lately, we have really been working with Legend on learning the real meaning behind the many seasons we celebrate throughout the year. I do think he is starting to understand, we pray with him at night & last night, when he was praying he thanked Jesus for some of the most precious things.. it was music to my ears! So precious! I am so proud of my little stinker, he really is so smart & I am really thankful I am able to stay home with him so I can teach him things, makes a momma happy!

That about sums it up for our Easter festivities. Zach has been working a lot lately, we are so glad he has the job he does & he really loves it-- that makes the world of difference. So glad I have a hard-working man & our kids have a dad who thrives to spend time with them! Legend has said some of the funniest things lately, he tells Ellis all the time, "Ellis, be a good boy, mommy will take us to Mcdonalds!" haha it cracks me up every time! He is so sweet to her & that really means so much to me, you can really tell he loves her so much & he is always making her smile. She is such a good baby, currently sleeping 10-12 hours at night, & is just so content all the time. It doesn't bother her that I'm constantly playing dress up with her & putting her in the cutest things! hah.

Well, this week should be pretty laid back, finally! I am loving spending time with my babies at home all day, being able to do whatever we want. Example: it is 3PM & we are all still in our jammies, on our second lion king movie of the afternoon! woohoo! This is what I live for!
Okay, I will be updating again soon, promise!
Ya'll have a great week!
